Designed for dogs who have completed our Intermediate Program, this advanced course continues building on the skills your dog has already learned while introducing fun new challenges to strengthen teamwork, confidence, and reliability.
This 6-week program is perfect for handlers who want to continue progressing with their dogs, reinforcing previous training while adding new skills that provide both mental and physical enrichment. Each class will build on what the dogs already know, helping to strengthen the bond between dog and owner through engaging, practical exercises.
Distance Commands
Take your dog's obedience to the next level by teaching them to respond to cues even when you're not standing beside them. Reliable distance commands are incredibly useful in everyday life, whether you're out on a trail, at the park, or simply needing your dog to hold a position until you can safely reach them.
Focused Heel Position
Further develop a calm, attentive heel with your dog walking politely at your side. We'll continue improving engagement, leash manners, focus, and communication between dog and handler.
Place Training with Duration
Build on your dog's place training by increasing duration, confidence, and relaxation. Your dog will learn to remain settled on their place until released, strengthening patience, impulse control, and calm behaviour in a variety of situations.
Beginner Scent Work
Introduce your dog to the exciting world of scent work through simple search games that encourage them to use their incredible sense of smell. These exercises provide excellent mental stimulation while building confidence, focus, and problem-solving skills.
Fetch & Retrieval Skills
We'll introduce structured fetch and retrieval games that are both fun and rewarding. These exercises help improve focus, cooperation, recall, and engagement while providing a great outlet for both physical exercise and relationship building.
