BOARD & TRAIN
Sometimes life gets busy, and despite your best intentions, finding the time or knowing exactly how to work through challenging behaviours can feel overwhelming. That's where my Board & Train program can help.
Every dog is different, and every training plan is tailored to the individual dog standing in front of me. Whether your dog struggles with reactivity, resource guarding, potty training, separation anxiety, poor manners, leash pulling, or simply needs a solid foundation, I create a customized training program that focuses on your dog's specific needs.
One of the things I love most about my job is watching dogs transform. Seeing a worried, reactive dog learn to relax, helping an anxious dog gain confidence, or teaching a puppy the skills they need to succeed is incredibly rewarding. But the best part is handing your dog back to you and hearing how much the training has changed your daily life. Knowing that families can once again enjoy walks, welcome visitors into their home, or simply relax with their dog is why I do what I do.
A Home Away From Home
Unlike many Board & Train programs, I only accept one dog at a time. This means your dog receives my complete attention, individualized training, and a program designed specifically for them.
Your dog will live inside my home as part of my daily routine, not in a kennel. They'll enjoy a structured schedule of training, rest, enrichment, and exercise in a home environment. Crate time is limited to nighttime or when I need to leave the house, helping your dog settle into a calm, predictable routine.
Throughout your dog's stay, I'll keep you involved by sending regular photo and video updates, so you can watch their progress and celebrate their successes along the way.
Building Lasting Results
During their stay, your dog receives structured daily training sessions, consistent routines, and plenty of opportunities to practice their new skills. By removing many of the triggers and habits that exist at home, we can prevent unwanted behaviours from being rehearsed while building new, more desirable ones.
While your dog is learning with me, you are still an essential part of the process.
I'm not a magician, and there are no overnight fixes. Every dog learns at their own pace, and lasting success depends on continuing the training once your dog returns home. My goal is not just to train your dog, but to teach you how to maintain and build on everything they've learned. Consistency is what turns new behaviours into lifelong habits.
That's why every Board & Train program includes owner coaching before and after your dog's stay. I'll show you how to communicate with your dog, explain the training methods we used, and help you feel confident continuing the work at home.
My support doesn't end when you pick your dog up. If you have questions, need advice, or simply want reassurance that you're on the right track, I'm always just a phone call or message away.
Board & Train isn't just about changing your dog's behaviour—it's about giving you the knowledge and confidence to enjoy life with your dog for years to come.
