PUPPY & BEGINNERS
I like to keep my groups small with a maximum of 6 participants per group in the winter and 4 in the summer months.
During the winter we can train in an indoor facility for your convenience. Location Temenos Athletics 1155 , St Paul street in Kelowna
If you are interested in a group lesson, feel free to reach out. I will put you in a waiting list and when I have enough demand I can start a new group.
IN A PUPPY/ BEGINNER COURSE YOU AND YOUR DOG WILL LEARN,
Name: The first lesson for your pup is to recognize their name, which serves as the cue to look at you and await your next instruction.
Come: The second most crucial command, ensuring prompt response and safety.
Sit: Mastering the sit command is a fundamental skill that will prove beneficial throughout your puppy's life.
Leave it: Train your puppy to refrain from touching or consuming items you don't want them to, promoting safety and obedience.
Wait: Teaching your puppy to wait is essential for preventing sudden escapes into potentially hazardous situations, such as bolting out of doors.
Heel: Walking calmly beside you on a leash is a critical skill for your puppy's safety during outdoor excursions and exploration.
Stay: Instilling patience in your puppy through the stay command is important for their overall obedience and control.
Down: Encourage your puppy to lie down, promoting a calmer demeanor, particularly in high-risk or high-excitement scenarios.
